Pop-up blockers can sometimes prevent important windows from appearing. Follow the steps below to disable pop-up blockers on your device.
iPhone (Safari)
By default, iPhones use Safari as the main browser.
Disable Pop-Up Blocker
Open Settings
Scroll down and tap Apps (or Safari on older iOS versions)
Tap Safari
Find Block Pop-ups
Toggle it OFF (switch should be gray)
Optional: Allow Cross-Site Tracking (if needed)
Some sites require this for pop-ups to work properly:
In Safari settings
Turn Prevent Cross-Site Tracking OFF
iPhone (Google Chrome)
If you're using Chrome instead of Safari:
Open the Chrome app
Tap the three dots (⋯) in the bottom-right corner
Tap Settings
Tap Content Settings
Tap Block Pop-ups
Toggle it OFF
Android (Google Chrome)
Most Android devices use Chrome by default.
Disable Pop-Up Blocker
Open the Chrome app
Tap the three dots (⋮) in the top-right corner
Tap Settings
Tap Site settings
Tap Pop-ups and redirects
Toggle it ON to allow pop-ups
Android (Samsung Internet Browser)
If you're using Samsung’s default browser:
Open Samsung Internet
Tap the menu icon (☰) in the bottom-right
Tap Settings
Tap Sites and downloads
Toggle Block pop-ups OFF
⚠️ Important Notes
After changing settings, refresh the page or restart your browser.
Some websites may still require you to tap a button to trigger a pop-up.
For security, consider re-enabling pop-up blockers after completing your task.
